Alex Keith Hutchinson

Alex Keith Hutchinson, 38, of Gallipolis, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015, in the Holzer Medical Center, of Jackson, Emergency Department. Born May 10, 1977 he was the son of Lonnie and Mozetta Mischell Smith Hutchinson, who survive in Gallipolis.

In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by his children, Keisha Hutchinson, of Kentucky, Madison Vance, MaKayla Vance, and Marcus Vance, all of Rio Grande. A brother, Courtney (Amy) Hutchinson, of Jackson, Oh., a sister, Monique Hutchinson, of Gallipolis, his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Smith, a niece, Emily Hutchinson, nephews, Caleb and Joshua Hutchinson, and numerous aunts and uncles also survive.

Alex is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Smith, and his paternal grandparents, Zack and Dorothy Hutchinson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Melvin Freeman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pine Street Cemetery. Larry Hutchinson, Byron Hutchinson, Antiawan Smith, Dion Johnston, Tyler Ury, and Herman Mayo will serve as casketbearers.
