Rosemary Croston, 74, of Portland, Oh. passed away, at 3:23 p.m. on Wednesday June 24, 2015, in the Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, West Virginia. Born August 19, 1940 in Portland, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Samantha V. Cornell Pickens, Sr. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Summa Hospital of Akron, Ohio.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Leonard Croston, Jr., of Portland, a daughter, Connie (Kevin) McManus, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, two granddaughters, Jodi (Justin) Northcutt, and Nicole (Ty) Roseburg. A brother, David (Terry) Pickens, of Niegly, Oh., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary is preceeded in death by a son, Phillip Scott Bryson, a granddaughter, Lindsey McManus, and a brother, John Pickens, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 in the Browning Cemetery, Portland. Pastor Ryan Eaton will officiate.
