Daythine Kay “Cindy” Nichols, 70, of Pomeroy, and formerly of Leesville, Louisiana, passed away at 1:05 p.m, Friday, November 13, 2015. Born October 22, 1945 in Charleston, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Sherman Perry and Helen Durham Hunter. She was a retired Nail Technician owning her own store called Nail’s by Cindy, in Leesville. She was a member of the Sandy Hill Baptist Church, in Leesville.
Cindy is survived by her sisters, Ann Foyet, of Barrington, Illinois, and Lou Hemsley, of Pomeroy, a niece, Missy Hemsley, and a nephew, Jay Hemsley.
In addition to her mother and father, Cindy is preceded in death by her husband, William T. “Nick” Nichols, on November 19, 2013, and her step-father, Bill F. Hunter.
Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Leesville, Louisiana. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, of Pomeroy is entrusted with Cindy’s arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.cremeensking.com
