This man was a blessing to my mother, me, and my siblings in the early 1980's. He taught me how to stand up for myself, how to work on a bicycle (very big deal when you're 8) and how to have fun. Once it was raining where we lived, but he and mom told us to get our swim suits on...we did, thinking they were nuts. Low and Behold! We drive right out of the rain and on to Lake Alma.
I loved him and I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.
