Condolences to the Spillman family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says Jehovah God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

It has only been 2 days since you passed and the hurt is almost too much to handle. I miss telling you good night and I love you before I went upstairs to go to bed. I miss waking up in the morning and Hearing you say "Have a good day at school, see you when you get home, love you sissy" I'd give anything for you to be back here with your family. We all miss you so much. All in all, thank you for teaching me, talking to me, and showing me the way to live a great life. I hope one day I can love my own family half as much as you loved all of us, to love mamaw, 14 kids, and 63 grandkids you had more love in you heart more than anyone could ever imagine. I'm so glad Jordan got the opportunity to meet you, I'm glad you left me in this world knowing you approved of the person I planned on spending the rest of my life with. nothing will ever be the same.. I miss you. Rest In Peace. We love you, Papaw.
Love Your Granddaughter and Grandson Forever & Always,
Ashley & Jordan

I was searching for my step-mother's obituary (Hazel Adkins, I presume), when I ran across Everett Eugene's obituary, and he happens to be my second cousin. His father Woodrow was a brother to my grandmother, Martha Jane Adkins. I remember a Gene Spillman from my childhood years, so I presume this is the same Gene I knew, since he has the same father and mother I remember. I offer sincerest condolences to my cousin's family, as I know he was a terrific man.
